COUNTRY rocker Adam Brand admits he and his Dancing with the Stars partner Jade Hatcher spend seven days a week together, but he says they are not romantically involved.
Brand and Hatcher were widely reported at the weekend to be smitten with each other, and there is clearly chemistry between to the two sequin-clad pocket rockets.
“The truth of the matter is we are really great mates,” Brand said.
“We are hanging out all the time, every day, seven days a week, so you get close.
“Everybody backstage is cuddling and giving each other back rubs.”
Hatcher, 19, said she and Brand had developed a close bond through the demands of the hit show.
“We show our affection a lot,” she said. “But dancers do get very close.”
Brand had surgery last week to have a stone removed from his salivary gland, resulting in him missing some training for Sunday night’s show.
