This is an absolute tragedy and my thoughts are with the families.
FIVE young men have been killed and a 20-year-old woman has been seriously injured in a high-speed car crash in Melbourne’s north overnight.
The fifteen-year-old girl and only survivor was found trapped in the mangled wreck of a blue 2009 Ford XR6 sedan, which police believe struck a tree at high speed near the corner of Plenty and Childs roads in Mill Park before 2am.
It is believed the car was found, completely mangled and wrapped around a huge tree.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman at the scene said there were four passengers sitting in the back of the high-powered late model car.
The teenage girl was trapped in the mangled car, while the bodies of five men were removed by emergency services crew.
