Reports of explosions in Jakarta

INDONESIA’S Metro TV reported an explosion was heard and felt this morning at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Kuningan, Jakarta.

Another explosion has been reported at the Marriott hotel.

The Associated Press reports the facade of the Ritz-Carlton was blown off and three injured people have been taken away.

“Some windows of the Ritz-Carlton building have been shattered, mostly on the lower section,” Myra Junor, who works at a nearby building said.

“I’m looking at it from my office.”
