Dear Father,

Please—we do not want to hear these words from YOU…it’s much easier to win the first time around then to re-open your case later.

If you are presently involved in a child custody dispute (or might be involved in one in the future) we have identified information of great importance that you should have.

THIS INFORMATION WILL HELP YOU, AS A FATHER, MAKE YOUR STRONGEST CASE FOR CUSTODY. It will also directly help protect your children now and in the future. Your children will thank you one day for taking “their best interests” seriously!

First, we would like you to know how we have come to be in possession of so much important information. Over the 30-plus years of our working in the child custody field, we have become increasingly involved in cases that frequently may find their way into court. We have acted as expert witnesses, custody evaluators or consultants for hundreds of parents involved in custody disputes all over the country.

Further, as editors of a national publication on custody matters, as responders to a 24-hour “hotline” where we answer questions from professionals about our tests, and as directors of a national organization of custody experts, we continually hear from judges, attorneys, professional experts and parents who in one way or another have been caught up in custody disputes, some of them simple, but most longstanding, complex and bitter.

As a result of all of these activities, we came to gather a huge amount of information on how various psychological and legal strategies, different kinds of evidence, and types of allegations work (or fail to work), both in the courtroom as well as in out-of-court negotiations.

The following are some of our thoughts on what we have experienced. Everything discussed here is covered in our new Strategies handbook.

You may be surprised to find that there are many ways which you can help yourself to cut down the cost of running your car. But we are not talking about shopping around for car insurance or trading in your flashy sports model for a little run-around – we are talking about fuel! By paying a little attention to your car and treating it correctly you can save money at the petrol pumps. Here are some excellent tips to help you get on top and start cutting down on the cost of your fuel.

First of all, make sure that you get your engine tuned on a regular basis. By keeping your engine in tip-top shape you can help to save yourself money. The most important part when it comes to saving on fuel this way is the oxygen sensor, this alone can increase or decrease your car’s efficiency by as much as 40%.

Always make sure that you keep an eye on your tyres. A once a week check is ideal. Inflate them when necessary as under inflated tyres force your car to work harder on the road. So always make sure that when you fill up your car that the tyres are optimal for the recommended pounds per square inch.

Using the right motor oil in our car can help to save you money too. Using the correct motor oil can help to make your car run much more efficiently which in turn saves you money.

Getting rid of any extra weight that doesn’t need to be in your car can help greatly to reduce the amount of fuel which your car uses. So this means that its time to clear out the boot of your car and get rid of the junk!

Finally, sign up to a website that has fuel price alerts – they can tell you the cheapest fuel prices near to your postcode.

Next year, I guess all of you should know that our country in Malaysia will increase petrol prices. Our current 1 liter petrol is priced at RM 1.92. For every 1 liter you purchase from the petrol station, the Government will subsidy RM 1. What if Government don’t subsidy anymore? There’s nothing we can do but just adapt to it.

Below are some of the tips that can save few extra bucks from petrol.

1. Turn off air-cond during driving. You can wind down your windscreen when you are in highway.

2. Step your accelerator pedal as light as feather.

3. Check your tyre pressure frequently and make sure they are full.

4. Use the most suitable petrol for your car engine. You can try each different brand of petrol to check it out. You have to do your own research as different car engine tends to suit different petrol brand.

5. Don’t follow too close to the car in front of you. If you follow too close, you might need to emergency brake and accelerate quite frequently. Leave approximately 2 to 3 cars behind.

6. Choose to own a car with manual type gearbox instead of an automatic. But nowadays, who wants to buy a manual car to stuck in the traffic jam!

7. Don’t put too much items into your car as all of these items can add up the car weight. Therefore you need to step harder to move your car.

8. Don’t change your tyre rim any wider than 14 inch. More than that, will consume more petrol.

9. Service your car on time and follow your maintenance schedule closely.
